There is a lot of misinformation here.
1. Start here for a true environmental cost, the conclusion is clear, BEVs range from slightly to a lot better for the environment:

2. The JD Powers results are a BRAND study so encompass all Teslas including the oldest ones. Modern car reviews in most major countries are giving Tesla vehicles between 4 and 5 stars normally.
3. Tesla's value is not what is causing almost every other major auto manufacturer to pile into BEV's. The reason everyone is piling into BEVs, including Toyota now is because they all recognise that it is the future of cars and anyone not doing it will be tomorrows Kodak.
You do get some things right though.
A. Mining things like cobalt is awful, fortunately battery tech advances are moving towards using much less of it. Either way that is an issue that can be dealt through ethical sourcing.
B. Teslas stock is chronically overvalued. Nonetheless BEVs are the future, it may or may not be Tesla but by 2025 consumers in most western countries will likely be buying more new BEVs over ICE vehicles for economic reasons alone.
