The most expensive part of an EV (which you seem ignorant of) is of course the battery. As battery prices head ever downward it is entirely feasible based on existing trends that the sticker price will overlap in 2025 and get cheaper thereafter. You dont seem to be able to comprehend the idea that technology is making battery prices cheaper literally every year. When they are cheap enough (about 2025) an EV will of course be cheaper as it doesn't have an expensive ICE engine in it but rather a very cheap electrical power train with what will then be a relatively cheap battery.

I don't know what relevance you seem to think betting has in this but certainly I wont be buying Toyota shares any time soon.
