The golden rule is unique to Jesus. Others, not just Buddha, have the negative version of the rule which says don’t hurt others because you don’t want to be hurt. Jesus is unique (I believe) in phrasing it positively. DO unto others as you would have them do unto you.

If you live under Buddhas law then you might be law abiding but you can ignore anyone else as long as you aren’t hurting then. Under Jesus mercy and love to others is a core command. Bless others in ways that you would find a blessing if someone did it to you.
