Sure, happy to provide more information.
JD Power have not according to their website provided a rating on the Tesla 3 so all we have is the unofficial brand dependability survey which encompasses old Tesla cars as well as new ones.
When we review other reputable car review sites we see that in general eg the Tesla 3 is getting either 4 or 5 star reviews (or equivalent), For example, Car and Driver give the Tesla 3 8.5/10
The NTSB recommendations shouldn't be ignored of course but context is required. Autopilot is according to figures released by Tesla and compared to published figured freely available about ten times safer than not using autopilot. Of course people like Business Insider have correctly identified that this does not make a Tesla ten times safer than a normal car but the point I am making is that we know for sure that using Autopilot in the conditions recommended by the manufacturer is safer than not using it.
The NTSB figures context is therefore that a safety feature can be made even more safe by following their advice.
We can therefore conclude that yes Tesla does have the best EVs on the market in the categories in which is sells. This is probably why everyone buys them in the numbers that they do.
That does not make the others bad, I for one really like many of the others which can be cool, safe and reliable. It is simply a reason why they are popular.
