Sadly this cannot work until conservatives take over from Trumpists as the people in charge of the Republican Party.

After that those same conservatives have to stop trying to drastically reduce public spending and start looking at a fairer distribution of wealth, income and land taxes to pay down debt. That will be bi- partisan.
