Ones belief on nuclear weapons is a good litmus test for how pragmatic your political views are.

If you think they should all go you are hopelessly naive and probably hail from the hard left.

If you like the idea of getting more better ones or you just aren’t troubled by them at all then you are probably on the hard right.

Personally both of those groups are equally disturbing in their own way and should be kept away from power.

If on the other hand you grieve their necessity while seeking to minimise their storage and ongoing costs and restrict their use you are probably a centrist (right or left).

That is a good thing. Such people represent a compromise between what is right and what is possible.
