Most people cannot even name 1 famous historian let alone 5 and I will therefore not bore you with names you will just squabble over.

However given the nature of associated academic courses one can pursue at university and multiple scholarly tones arguing about both content and historicity (see Wikipedia for a summary and a long list of references) it is safe to say that the gospels are considered to be historical documents.

Agnostic historians for example will still use the gospels to understand what was going on in that era even where they disagree with eg the written miracles.

You are free to believe whatever you like. You cannot however say that the gospels are not treated as historical documents without lying.
