Libertarians think all government is bad. They can’t or won’t distinguish between good and bad government.

Similarly people who have experienced or possibly observed the abuse of the Bible by people who claim to be Christian can sometimes end up thinking that the Bible is the problem when again it isn’t.

The author seems to have applied wisdom in this matter and realised how beneficial Jesus’ teachings and the Bible can be when applied correctly, when studied for wisdom rather than used to justify control or abuse.
