It’s not the Germans that we should fear it’s some of the Asian companies. Toyota could go bust easily given their attitude towards EVs.

There are approach differences too. Tesla remain Hurley flexible in terms of changes they can and do make to their cars. They could add a feature to a model 3 in a very short time. Some of those may even make it to the car you already own.

VW just aren’t designing Cars like that. If you want a new feature buy their new car in 5 years time.
