Interesting article but a little close minded:

1. It precludes new technology which by its nature you can’t imagine (who could have predicted the internet)
2. There are other ways to travel. Cryogenic hibernation inside a rotating cylinder is one option. Cryogenic hibernation tech is also much more theoretically possible than artificial gravity right now.
