In other countries like the UK no additional infrastructure is needed to convert (with a device) an ordinary house power source into an overnight charger so infrastructure is not an issue.
Where did you get your triple stats from? Everything I have read including from the people who are funding this by putting their money where their mouth is do not show any kind of instant tripling issue.
We would expect to se a gradual phase out of ICE vehicles for EV starting in a significant way in 2025 but taking at least a decade (to get to significant numbers) as people slowly replace older cars with newer cheaper EVs.
Demand will increase but the markets will react accordingly by increasing supply and through smarter peak capacity etc management.
