I listen to some of the Holy Post so I went back and listened to this one. The Holy post is really valuable as it tries very hard to tread a moderate path between the American partisan divide. To be fair you commend them for this as do I.
After this though you seem to drift off into criticism invoking DK to describe one of the hosts which is unfair. Most of The team deliberately stayed off social media and spent a week researching the topic before talking. No ‘emergency podcast’. Further to that none claim to be experts. They only wanted to provide their perspective.
Finally after all that, despite being broadly in favour of the ruling they could not find a single positive thing that would result from it. Phil called it nought for 4.
Your response itself isn’t fair. Instead of attacking them for DK and other character things you should instead attack them because your perspective differs from them. It is more left wing than theirs. Perhaps you are right and they are wrong but your basis should be as an opponent with a valid view.
Certainly I believe this is the new prohibition and won’t end well for ‘pro life’ people or evangelicals as they are not widely supported in getting their way with their minority view.
I believe in reducing abortions to zero but not it making it illegal as I believe that is not an effective way of reducing abortion. My view isn’t relevant to this point.
