I am a Christian and I am utterly appalled my American Christians. A proper understanding of Jesus and his teachings on among other things teaches integrity in leaders and is against the religious nationalism of his day and shows that American Christianity is lost - it is against everything that Jesus teaches.

It is also not authoritarian. The bible gives us principles, teaches accountability and transparency and is opposed to authoritarianism. Even in heaven there is no authoritarianism.

I implore you not to let those nasty ‘Christians’ deceive you into thinking that this has anything to do with faith.
